SafetyFlow Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 42 697 226 501) ("SafetyFlow") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how SafetyFlow collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy applies to the SafetyFlow website at safetyflow.ai and to SafetyFlow's communications and messaging services, including messages exchanged via WhatsApp.
The personal information SafetyFlow collects
SafetyFlow collects personal information that is reasonably necessary for its functions and activities. Depending on how you interact with SafetyFlow, this may include:
- Website visitors: technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through website analytics.
- People who contact SafetyFlow: your first name, work email address and the contents of any message you include, where you submit a form on the website or otherwise contact SafetyFlow.
- Messaging service users: where you communicate with SafetyFlow or its systems through WhatsApp, SafetyFlow collects your WhatsApp phone number, your name or display name as provided, and the contents of the messages you send and receive.
SafetyFlow does not intentionally collect more personal information than it needs. Where it is lawful and practicable, you may deal with SafetyFlow anonymously or using a pseudonym.
How SafetyFlow uses your information
SafetyFlow uses personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide information you request;
- operate, maintain and improve its website and services;
- deliver its communications and messaging services, including coordinating work and compliance-related information through WhatsApp;
- comply with its legal and regulatory obligations.
How SafetyFlow discloses your information
SafetyFlow may disclose personal information to third parties who provide services to it, including:
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts SafetyFlow's systems and database in the Sydney region, Australia, and provides AI processing for SafetyFlow's services through Amazon Bedrock in the Sydney region;
- Lovable, which hosts the safetyflow.ai website, stores website form submissions and sends website enquiry notifications;
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, where you communicate with SafetyFlow via WhatsApp. WhatsApp messages are handled through the WhatsApp Business Platform and are subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own privacy terms;
- professional advisers, and regulatory or law enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.
SafetyFlow does not sell your personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of SafetyFlow's service providers, including Meta and Lovable, may store or process personal information outside Australia. Where SafetyFlow discloses personal information overseas, it takes reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
WhatsApp messaging
When you interact with SafetyFlow through WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted using the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's and Meta's privacy policies, which SafetyFlow encourages you to review. SafetyFlow uses the information you provide through WhatsApp only for the purposes described in this policy.
Data storage and security
SafetyFlow takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. SafetyFlow's systems and database are hosted with Amazon Web Services in the Sydney region, Australia. Website form submissions are held by Lovable, as described above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and SafetyFlow cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
The SafetyFlow website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand how it is used. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, although some parts of the site may not function as intended.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information SafetyFlow holds about you, and ask SafetyFlow to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. To make a request, contact SafetyFlow using the details below. SafetyFlow will respond within a reasonable period.

If you have a concern about how SafetyFlow has handled your personal information, please contact SafetyFlow first using the details below so the concern can be addressed. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
